I have always been interested in electronics and computers, partly following in my dads footsteps. But my passion for retro hardware is my own. I’m not really sure where that comes from, I think it is partly an aesthetic thing, partly a nostalgic thing. There is something about the look, feel and indeed smell of old hardware. Warming dust and plastic, sometimes some magic blue smoke.
It gives me pleasure to fix stuff, either old or new. Anything as long as stuff is given a second life and avoids landfill!
